The Annual Meeting of Katy Lake Homeowner's Association, Inc. (the “Association”) will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Waxahachie Country Club, 1920 U.S. 287 
Business, Waxahachie, TX 75165. Sign-in will begin at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., once quorum is established. The Association is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the State of Texas and, as such, is required to hold Meetings of its Members. The Meeting has been called by the Board of Directors pursuant to Article VIII, Section 4 of the Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions of the Katy Lake on the Greens, Phase 1 (the “CCRs”), wherein it states “An annual meeting of the Members of the Association shall be held in October of each year.”

The Annual Meeting of Katy Lake Homeowner's Association, Inc. will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Waxahachie Country Club, 1920 U.S. 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX 75165. Sign-in will begin at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., once quorum is established.

The Association is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the State of Texas and, as such, is required to hold Meetings of its Members.

The Meeting has been called by the Board of Directors for the purpose of approving a dues increase for 2013 as well as a special assessment to cover significant un-budgeted expenses related to compliance with TCEQ-mandated clearing of brush and small trees from the faces of the earthen dam and spillway areas at Katy Lake. Please check your U.S. Mail this week for a letter and other documents for background information on both the dues increase and the special assessment.

To conduct a homeowners meeting, a quorum of thirty percent (30%) of the Members must be represented in person or by proxy. In order to be sure of a quorum, please sign and date the Proxy in your mailed packet and return it by mail to Katy Lake HOA, Inc., PO Box 3075, Waxahachie, TX 75168 or via fax to 214-988-1125, even if you plan to attend as unforeseen circumstances do occur. The Proxy will be returned to you upon your arrival at the meeting, should you attend.
