If you are interested in serving on the HOA Board, please email katylakeneighbors@gmail.com by September 27 at 5:00 p.m. HOA board member Kelli Davis will contact you with more information about serving on the board. If, at that time, you wish to have you name placed in nomination, you will be included on the ballot.

Your proxy form declares whom you empower to cast your vote AT THE MEETING. Similarly, if you submit an absentee ballot, you do not need a proxy form.

The Annual Meeting of Katy Lake Homeowner's Association, Inc. (the “Association”) will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Katy Lake Park on Katy Lake Drive, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
INCLEMENT WEATHER INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE SENT IF THE SITUATION DICTATES.

The HOA Annual Meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m., once quorum is established. The Association is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the State of Texas and, as such, is required to hold Meetings of its Members.

The Meeting has been called by the Board of Directors pursuant to Article VIII, Section 4 of the Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions of the Katy Lake on the Greens, Phase 1 (the “CCRs”), wherein it states “An annual meeting of the Members of the Association shall be held in October of each year.”

At this meeting, we will elect members to the Board of Directors of the Association. If you wish to nominate someone for any of these board positions, please contact Kelli Davis (Board Member) via email (KatyLakeNeighbors@gmail.com ) by Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

To conduct a homeowners meeting, a quorum of thirty percent (30%) of the Members must be represented in person or by proxy. In order to be sure of a quorum, please sign and date your Proxy and Absentee Ballot and return it by mail to P.O. Box 3075, Waxahachie, TX 75168 or send a photo of the signed form via email to katylakeneighbors@gmail.com even if you plan to attend as unforeseen circumstances do occur. The Proxy will be returned to you upon your arrival at the meeting, should you attend.

However, just submitting an absentee ballot does not help us meet quorum requirements. To be able to conduct business at the annual meeting we must meet a quorum of 30% of all eligible member either in person or by proxy. Instructions for submitting the forms are on the forms themselves.
